This item is in Mint Condition.  Boot knife, also known as the Bayernmesser. Named for the area of Germany where the design originated.  Bayern is also known as Bavaria in Southern Germany. This is a beautiful knife that has been polished and it is the German version noted by the sheath design. The American version would have a stainless clip on the sheath for clipping to your boot or waist belt.
The knife has very nice dark Sambar Stag handles and a bright, mark-free blade.  It would make an excellent display piece in a collection.
