This item is in Mint Condition. It was the first Commemorative knife made by Puma in 1973, commemorating the company’s founding in 1769. The beautiful Sambar stag handles and an acid-etched blade with an oak leaf motif shows off the beauty of this knife. Me Fecit Solingen is etched on the bolsters. Translated, this means ” I was made in Solingen” Germany. The box is perfect with a gold leaf pattern displayed on the top. You very rarely see a knife or the box this perfect. Usually, you will see damage to the gold foil oak leaves. The box includes a matching Certificate and is serialized with the number 1219. 1769 of these knives were produced.
